An “ejerbolig” can be an apartment or a house of different types. Owning an “ejerbolig” means owning the right to live in the apartment or house, and owning a share of the society that owns the building. Different from a rental apartment (lejebolig), owner-occupied homes give the owner more freedom and you may also rent the apartment out.
