Amager is an island located east of Copenhagen. In Amager you can find many of Copenhagen’s cosy neighbourhoods such as Islands Brygge, Christianshavn, Lergravsparken, Tårnby and Ørestad. Besides that, Copenhagen Airport is also located in Amager in the city area Kastrup. Christianshavn and Islands Brygge have both been much-coveted places to find housing in recent years.
