Østerbro has formerly been known for housing the wealthier citizens of Copenhagen and is still today one of the most expensive places to live. There is a more quiet and calm atmosphere in Østerbro compared to the other parts of Copenhagen. Even though Østerbro has not been known for its nightlife, a lot of trendy and exclusive cocktail bars have opened in recent years.
